Holiday Open House 2007

Memories of Christmas was the theme for  2007 Holiday Open House was scheduled November 23 and took much planning and work. Even though it was a  cold evening, we still had a good turnout. The 1st place winner in the Adult Parade entry was Snoopy by C & C Cycle, and 1st place winner in the Children Parade entry was K-Dance with their float and dancers. Our Live Window displays winner was Lucas County Museum in Family Shoe window, 2nd Place winner was Nest, and 3rd Place winner was Lindy's Closet. The Memorial  Tree of Lights has new energy efficient lights and each light that was in memory of individuals or in honor of individuals was read by Ruth Comer and Betty Pepping and printed in the booklet that was handed out.  The 2007 Miss Merry Christmas and Little St. Nick is Vada Abrahamson and Zeb DeZwarte.
