Youth Community Betterment |

Purpose The purpose of Chariton Youth Community Betterment is to promote positive attitudes in area youth toward the community; create a better understanding between adults and youth in the community; coordination of community youth activities; and to create a cleaner and safer environment. |

Youth Community Betterment is affiliated with Chariton Community Betterment, a division of the Chariton Chamber and Development Corp. It functions under the Chariton Community Betterment but maintains a separate budget and rules governing its activities. The government shall be vested in a twelve-member Board, comprised of three students from each of the four high school grades. |
