2011 Red Bud Festival

 Bike, Pet Parade, Scavenger Hunt and Cup Cake Decorating Contest

We are adding new events to the Red Bud Festival and had several new events this year:  Red Bud Scavenger Hunt by Lucas County Health Center,  Children and Adult Cup Cake Decorating Contest, and coloring contest of a Red Bud Tree.  We had a large number of entries and participants in the Cup Cake decorating contest for adults and children.  Due to the weather we had the children contest inside the Chamber and had several children.  We want to thank Jen Fehrer and Jenny McGee for all their assistance with our new event “The Cup Cake Contest.”   The adult winner was Kristy Dawson.  In the arctic cold weather the pet parade and bicycle had only a few entries.  In Motion dance students performed in their studio and provided a wonderful show of their talents.  Paula Larrington with her Kickapoo, “Muffy” and poodle "Vinnie" were the best dressed pet.

The Antique tractors were unable to come due to the weather.
