2011Crazy Days July 29

We had a great time on Crazy Days-- We started the day at 8 a.m. with free donuts, coffee, and juice, provided by Great Western Bank, Midwest Heritage Bank, and US Bank at the Court House Gazebo. A special thanks to the above banks for sponsoring this.

The Business Professional/Retail division of the Chariton Chamber served free Hot Dogs, Watermelon, soda and ice Cream on the Gazebo with Hy-Vee Food Store Director, Tim Michael doing the grilling and 1st United Methodist Church (Pastor Alan Weise)  serving  the Ice Cream. Everyone enjoyed the free lunch and the weather was cloudy  and  hot.  Our thanks to Hy-Vee Food Store,  Hy-Vee Distribution Center,  Midwest Heritage Bank and 1st United Methodist Church  for sponsoring this event.

 Our Crazy Days costume winners for Best Business costumes were 1st place Demichelis Law Office and 1st place winner Midwest Heritage Bank - $50 in Chamber Gift Certificates;  It was very difficult to choose the Business winner and the judges decided to award both businesses 1st place.  We did not have an individual winner this year.
