Lucas County Tourism 2nd Annual Fly-In Breakfast

The 2nd Annual Fly-in breakfast with the former Jaycee members serving breakfast of pancakes, sausage, coffee, milk, and orange juice was held at the Chariton Municipal Airport on Saturday, June 12th.  The event was organized by Tourism member Lyle Asell, with the assistance of all the Tourism members.  This year's Fly-In Breakfast was in memory of Dave McGlothen who was the organizer of the 1st Fly-in Breakfast and was working to improve the airport.

The weather did not cooperate this year and it was to rainy and windy for any pilots to fly in, but we did have a good turn out of Drive- Ins.  We did have two planes that did fly out after it stopped raining. Below are some photos of the event.  Also, a big thank you to Margaret Yocom's middle School Soar Classes who decorated the Styrofoam airplanes.
