Chili Bowl Shootout and Salsa Challenge

The Chamber's fifth annual Chili Bowl Shootout saw lots of eating, lots of action and lots of fun for participants and spectators alike.  From a field of eleven entries, Jackie Askland emerged as the 2010 Chili Champ.  Also, from a field of seven entries, Tim McGee had the winning salsa entry in the Salsa Challenge, which was decided by a "people's choice" vote.   The coed Dodge ball tournament finals saw the team from Hy-Vee Distribution Center,  pull out a thrilling victory over the field of seven teams, and the Coed three-on-three basketball  winning team from Midwest Heritage Bank were the Basketball Champs.  The chili feed, Coed  Dodge ball, and the Coed three-on-three basketball  tournaments and the "celebrity auction" will help fund Chamber activities throughout the year.  Congratulations to all the volunteers for another successful event!
